About Maisie
Maisie's needs in her new home
- Another Male desexed playful dog (not puppy or senior) to live with however would be ok being alone with someone home more often than not
- Can live with cats and other small animals with slow introductions.
- She is playful and would love toys to play with.
- Maisie loves her people so would love access to inside to be with you.
- To sleep inside overnight.
- A family who will include her on outings and activities
- Maisie being young will need on going training
- plenty of snuggle time.
Maisie is a gorgeous cattle dog x ridgeback pup with the sweetest nature.
If you’re looking for a dog who likes cats, other dogs and rabbits then this is your girl. She is however not great with chickens. She has a gorgous nature and will happily play with another dog or by herself.
A stick, Kong or any soft toy is the key to maisies heart she is so toy oriented and loves treats also.
She loves a nice sunbake in the sun on a warm day and also loves to play in water however try giving her a bath and you will end up wetter than her.
Maisie has undertaken a training program with her foster carer and now knows basic obedience. She still does get excited at times and jumps up and does have her zoomie moments.
Maisie is super snuggly and loves a belly rub, ear stratch and cuddles on the couch. She would love a home where she is able to sleep beside your bed at night.
A home with a male desexed adult dog (not a puppy or senior) and a family who will include her in their day-to-day activities is what she is after.
What more can I say about this girl if you're looking for a best friend to enjoy life with, she is definitely your kind of pup.
Maisie would benefit from attending more obedience training so she can master her skills and become the most loving dog she can be.

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home musr attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care or we will assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition thst you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
