About Amey
Hey there, future partner in crime! I'm Amey, a one-year-old Kelpie cross on a quest for a new home. You see, life threw a curveball, and my current family, lovely as they are, can't look after me anymore. So, here I am, hoping you might be the one to turn my tale around.
Imagine a big, friendly pup who's a whopping 45 kilograms of pure love and excitement. That's me! I've got this stunning coat and a heart that's just waiting to be shared with someone as awesome as you.
My days at my current place have been filled with love, but I'm ready for a new chapter – a chapter with you! I'm a social butterfly, great with kids, and I absolutely adore big dogs. Let's be real, I'm not a fan of those tiny feline creatures, and small animals? Let's just say we might not see eye to eye on that one.
Adventures, oh boy, I live for them! Long walks, exploring new places, and playing fetch with my squeaky pig – that's my idea of a perfect day. I may be a bit of an attention seeker, but can you blame me? I've got so much love to give!
Here's the lowdown on my favorite things: strawberries and big raw bones. Call me a foodie, but a pup's gotta have her snacks, right?
Now, my current humans say I'm crate trained at night, and I've got this whole sunbathing routine during the day. But what I'm really looking for is a cozy spot in your home, close to you, because I'm all about that inside dog life.
I've been around kids as young as four, and visitors are like bonus playmates. I'm a people pup, what can I say? As for my energy levels, I can be a bit of a live wire when I'm excited, but once I settle down, it's cuddle time. Picture this: me, you, and a couch – the perfect trio.
So, here I am, a ball of love and fur, ready to jump into a new adventure with you. If you're an active soul with a soft spot for cuddles and a bit of quirkiness, we might just be the perfect match. Will you be the one to open your heart and home to me? Let's start our story together – a story filled with wagging tails, laughter, and unconditional love.
Medical notes
Vaccinations, desexing, microchip, and heartworm checks are provided by the rescue.
If there is outstanding vet work, the rescue will organise it with one of their partner vets. If the adopter would like to take over the vet work at their own cost to their own vet, this can be transferred.
