About Spike
*In foster care in Rozelle, Sydney*
Spike is a playful little girl with a penchant for chasing her foster sister Gherkin and hair ties on strings!
She came into foster care being quite afraid of humans, but now loves a good head pat and belly rub, and will purr contentedly once you find the right spot to scratch :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Spike is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will have plenty of space for me to run and play. I'm still getting used to humans and can startle from sudden movements, so a safe spot or two to retreat to would be great as well.
I do enjoy the company of other cats, especially my sister Gherkin, who's also available for adoption: https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1010809 But if you can't take us both, another nice feline-in-residence would be lovely!
MY ENERGY LEVEL: High! Playing and exploring with my sister is the best fun - but I do like a cuddle with my human once I wind down.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any kids yet, but I'm sure I'll get along with anyone of any age if they're gentle and kind.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'd really love to live with another nice kitty - heads up, my sister Gherkin is also looking for a family!
I haven't met any dogs while in foster care.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
