About Remington
** Assisted Re-home **
Remington is a fun loving social boy with a playful personality to match!
Remington enjoys being close with you and seeks out your love and affection.
He is fond of a good play session with you or a cat friend. His joyous antics and zoomies around the house will leave you in fits of laughter! Remington enjoys his outside walks on a cat harness/lead with you. Sniffing and exploring the world around him, this is his favourite thing to do other than to be doted on by you.
Remington is good with other cats. Found Hearts always recommends slow introductions is given when merging new and existing pet/s within the home. Remington is a social cat and also a playful personality; we recommend if you do have an existing cat at home that you ensure they are a well matched friend for Remington (i.e. making sure that your existing cat enjoys playing too!).
Remington has been tested in his current foster care home with a small cat-friendly dog and has shown no issues. The foster carer's small cat-friendly dog does leave the cats alone (doesn't chase them or initiate play), so if you do have dog/s we would recommend they be of a similar personality.
For a family home with children we recommend ages 5+ as Remington does enjoy his interactive play sessions (doing zoomies and running around the house during his bursts of energy) and this could potentially be too much for very small children (may accidently knock them over if he is doing zoomies etc).
If you are a loving home that wants both a playful and affectionate cat in equal measure, Remington would be the perfect fit!
