About Coco
Allow us to introduce you to Coco, a young and vibrant fifteen month old German Shepherd who has been surrendered to the vets after having at least two homes. Coco is a smaller dog and weighs 22 kilos.
Coco has had some obedience training, which means she's not only sweet and playful but delightful to have around as well.
Coco has all the fantastic hallmarks of the German Shepherd breed - intelligent, energetic, and cheekily playful in the best possible ways. While she can be reactive around some dogs and strangers, she's quick to warm up once she recognises friends. As a result, Coco would appreciate a calm, patient owner who will help her feel comfortable around new people and experiences.
Being a young and spirited dog, her ideal new family would be one that provides plenty of playtime and daily walks to keep her active, curious mind, and energetic body sufficiently stimulated. Alongside this, she also values downtime with her owners and loves nothing more than to curl up for a good snuggle.
Although Coco hasn't been tested around cats or pocket pets, she's proven herself to be adaptable, a quick learner, and ready to adjust to her new family.
The most important thing to Coco is that she becomes a part of your family, included in family activities, adventures, and of course, the everyday tummy rubs she adores so much.
In conclusion, Coco is a gem who, with a little patience and a lot of love, will undeniably shine and become your most loyal and affectionate friend. Let Coco fill your home with life and laughter with her sheer zest for life and unmistakable canine charm.
If you have recently owned a German Shepherd or large breed dog, and understand German Shepherd and think you have the energy to give me a new home, then please select the "Enquire about Coco"
If you live in Queensland or Victoria, you can be considered, however you will need to be able to drive with your family to meet Coco. If for any reason she doesn't fit your family you will be responsible for bringing her back to Sydney or helping us to rehome from your home.
Medical notes
Coco is microchipped, vaccinated and desexed.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog.
We try to contact every one by phone but if that isn't successful we will email our application form to you, which needs to be completed and returned, or you can call us back and we can chat and complete for you. We will also ask you to provide photos of your yard and fencing to enable us to see where the dog will be kept and that they have areas of shade and shelter.
All our dogs are ready to go to their new home, so when you enquire about a dog you must be in a position to take them into your home. We are unable to hold a dog while you fix your fences or go on holiday, etc.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
