About Klaus - Dingo
Have you meet Klaus? Believe me, if you had, you’d remember. This dingo is a cheeky one, he can be a bit shy at first, especially with men, but he warms up quickly, with patience and treats.
Klaus is energetic and extremely smart. He is always up for an adventure and would make the perfect companion for someone who loves the outdoors. He particularly enjoys long walks in the bush, especially when he can find some fresh grass to munch on. He prefers walks in quiet places like parks, beaches and bushland and can get a bit too anxious in crowded or busy places like markets and cafes.
Even though walking is a must, Klaus loves to lay in the shade for a small break, thus offering you time to cuddle him and rest your legs.
Klaus knows how to sit and we’re sure he could learn a lot of tricks with some practice and plenty of treats and cuddles.
Klaus would be great with another dingo or large dog (male or female, desexed), as well as children over 12. However, he can’t live with cats, birds, livestock or small animals.
Klaus needs a home with a secure yard (at least 2.2m tall fence and dig-proofing) where he can play and run around to his heart's content. We are always more than happy to help secure your fencing.
If you're looking for a loving and adventurous companion to join you on all of life's journeys, then Klaus might just be the perfect fit for you.
Adoption details
Please note at this time pending legal advice we are unable to offer fox kit adoption to private owners.
Dingo Adoption:
1. Send an email inquiry with your name and contact details outlining your current living situation, pets and family members and anything else you think might be relevant, particularly what your house and yard are like. Remember our dingoes typically require an enclosure or modified fencing.
2. We will email you back adoption information and an application form to fill out and return to us.
3. If your application is approved- Come along to meet us and our dingoes at our Goulburn shelter or their foster carers' home and let us find the right furry family member for you. We can also come to you. We are happy to meet new prospective owners anywhere in NSW or the ACT.
4. Before you can pick up your new dingo you will also need to under a house/yard check and pay your adoption fee. No animals are rehomed unless their adoption fee is paid in full and a yard check has been completed.
