About Ayla - Dingo
Hi! I'm Ayla, a mature, sweet, quiet dingo looking for a loving fur-ever home. While I may be a bit shy at first, I come with a wealth of experience and good manners. I've mastered house training/toilet training, walking on a leash, and riding in cars like a pro. I'm content outdoors or indoors, and I sleep through the night (I love to curl up at the end of the bed). Now, all I need is a caring family to share my life with.
Toilet trained: You won't have to worry about accidents in your home with me around. I'm toilet trained and understand where to do my business. I will hang out all night when I'm sleeping indoor, I'm also happy to sleep outside if you prefer.
Great on Lead: I'm an expert when it comes to walking on a leash. Whether it's a leisurely stroll through the neighborhood or a more adventurous hike, I'm ready to be your perfect walking companion.
Good in the Car: I don't mind car rides at all. In fact, I find them quite enjoyable. I'll happily join you on trips, making me a great companion for your adventures. I can ride in a crate or on a leash on the backseat.
What I'm Looking For:
I'm searching for a patient and understanding family who appreciates the beauty of a shy, older dog like me. Here's what I hope to find:
A Calm and quiet Home: I thrive in a peaceful environment where I can relax and feel safe. I'm not one for loud noises or a bustling atmosphere. For this reason I'd prefer a home without small kids, but respectful patient teenagers are fine.
Leisurely Walks: I enjoy my walks, so a family that values the simple pleasure of strolling through the neighborhood or taking short hikes would be perfect.
Travel Companions: If you love to explore new places and take road trips, I'd love to join you. I'm a great travel companion and will make those journeys even more enjoyable.
Patience and Time: It may take a little while for me to open up completely, but with patience, love, and understanding, I promise to be a loyal and devoted companion!
Fencing: I need a secure 2m fence or dog enclosure. I could also live in a large apartment if I get plenty of walks and attention from my new family.
Other animals: I can't live with cats, small dogs, birds or livestock, but I do often get along well with medium/large, male dogs with slow introductions.
Adoption details
Please note at this time pending legal advice we are unable to offer fox kit adoption to private owners.
Dingo Adoption:
1. Send an email inquiry with your name and contact details outlining your current living situation, pets and family members and anything else you think might be relevant, particularly what your house and yard are like. Remember our dingoes typically require an enclosure or modified fencing.
2. We will email you back adoption information and an application form to fill out and return to us.
3. If your application is approved- Come along to meet us and our dingoes at our Goulburn shelter or their foster carers' home and let us find the right furry family member for you. We can also come to you. We are happy to meet new prospective owners anywhere in NSW or the ACT.
4. Before you can pick up your new dingo you will also need to under a house/yard check and pay your adoption fee. No animals are rehomed unless their adoption fee is paid in full and a yard check has been completed.
