Onyx

Introducing a very special boy who is looking for his perfect owner, one to fit the yin to his yang.

Onyx is approximately a 7 month old terrier x pup who came from rural NSW. We have no history before he found himself in the pound.

Onyx is a very affectionate, loving dog who bonds to one person and one person alone. He feels uncomfortable with other family members in the home. Therefore he MUST go to a single person who lives alone.

Onyx will bond with his new owner for life, go everywhere with him be "his/her dog". Perhaps working from home, a gardener, a tradie? (But no loud noises please! These are very scary!)

Onyx has received abuse in his life and at the hand of males, however his current foster carer is a man who he adores. He will just require a few meet and greets to warm up to you.

Onyx is dog, cat and bird in a cage friendly. He is still a pup and is still learning everything.

The person we are looking for to adopt Onyx will understand dog language, be gentle but not reinforce nervous behaviours. They will understand how to assist Onyx to become more social and be the best boy he can be.

Onyx may like to share his home with another dog that is tolerant of a puppy that is trying to learn social skills or could happily live as a single dog.
The owner must be with Onyx at least 90% of the time.

Onyx is the sweetest dog and when he finds his owner you will find your not only a new family member, but a soulmate for life. To take with you everywhere, who will never leave your side.
