Dundurite

Dundurite came from a rural NSW pound and has bonded quickly with his humans and is proving to be an affectionate boy who also loves cuddles, snuggles and belly rubs and he looks forward to meeting and becoming part of his new family.

Dundurite is a sweet natured Black and Tan 2 Year old desexed Male Kelpie. He seemed so lost and heartbroken when he arrived with us but has since settled in nicely to suburban life.

This boy likes to be active and is eager to learn but also loves to soak up the sunshine snoozing. He has traits of a “working dog” so all basic commands are new to him, ongoing training is required.

He is very social with other dogs, he is currently in care with a family, an older Kelpie and small Pugalier. They can often be found talking to each other, playing tug-o-war or doing zoomies around the back yard.

Dundurite is currently in foster care with a toddler and is taking it all in his stride! He has proven to be child and toddler friendly. The perfect family dog!

This beautiful boy will require continued training as he is a bit of a puller on a lead but that could be due to having possibly been a working dog and trained off lead. He walks really well on a Halti type lead.

Dundurite is smart and eager to please. His recall is getting better on long lead and in enclosed areas as he comes when whistled.
He loves to be up front for car rides and hang is head out the window.
