About Mochi
Say hello to Mochi, a 15-month-old Maremma Sheepdog who brims with energy and joy. As lively as he is lovely, Mochi is still displaying some youthful puppy behaviours. Armed with an overflowing enthusiasm for life, all he needs is a little guidance and training to shape him into the perfect companion.
With Mochi’s large size and high energy level, he is best suited for a family or individual with ample space for him to roam and play. He will thrive under the guidance of someone who is knowledgeable about his breed and can provide consistent and supportive training. This bouncy, fun-loving boy is ready to shower his new family with boundless joy and unconditional love.
Mochi is in the process of adjusting to new surroundings and adapting to his changing world. All he asks for is your patience and understanding during this transition. With a little time and a lot of love, Mochi will navigate his new surroundings and settle in comfortably.
It's important to note that Mochi's big-hearted nature is best paired with experienced dog owners who can dedicate their time and affection without distraction. Therefore, he would prefer to be the only pet in his new home. With that being said, the bright side is, with Mochi, you're gaining not just a pet, but a loyal and loving best friend.
So, whether it's a foster-to-adopt setup or directly providing his forever home, welcoming Mochi into your life gives him the joy of belonging and offers you the happiness of pet-companion love. With time, attention and plenty of space to run, Mochi might be your ideal pet.

Please complete our online pre-adoption screener form and a co-ordinator will be in touch with you as soon as possible - https://form.jotform.co/Freshstartrescue/adoptionenquiryform
This is in no way an obligation to adopt but simply gives us some more information about the home, family and lifestyle you have to offer a new pet.
As of 2017, Fresh Start Rescue are no longer placing dogs in homes with children under the age of 9 years old. We know this will frustrate many families looking to adopt, however for the safety of both those families and are beloved dogs, we have decided to put this measure into place.
