About Ulexite
G'day Everyone, Ulexite here! I'm waiting for someone to fall in love with my puppy personality and handsome face!
I have this big long name "Ulexite" which I'm told is a white mineral to fit in to the Gemstone theme, but my foster mum calls me Arlo.
I'm only about 7 months old and I do act like a puppy, so please be aware, that I love to play and jump up on people quite often (I'm trying hard not too, but people and dogs are just so exciting!!!)
I was originally surrendered from rural NSW as my mum only had me as her pup and my dad supposedly jumped the fence when noone else was looking. The backyard was too small for me and mum, so I was surrendered to the pound.
I'm not exactly sure what breed I am, but there's a whole lot of staffy in my face. I have a big wide staffy grin when I look up at my foster mum. There is also something taller and leaner in there, maybe Ball Arab?
Do you love yoghurt? So do I! Especially those vanilla yoghurt buttons for dogs. I will do anything for one of those yummy treats. I now know how to sit on command and am toilet trained.
I would love to live with another doggy friend or have regular play dates as I am awesome with both large and small dogs. I will however require an active dog that is tolerant and can deal with my puppy habbits, with your intervention when necessary. I don't always know when to stop playing with other dogs and may get told off.
I am very friendly with young children and have met them before and apparently I originally came from a home with a young girl. I would be fine with kids about 7 years +, as I am not super boisterous and pushy, but I do jump up often. So large dog savvy children, able to turn when I jump to assist with training will be a must.
I am slowly getting the hang of walking nicely on a lead, I am Lear that it is not a pulling race. I am usually walked with a harness to assist with this.
I am fine to be left at home with a juicy bone or interactive toy while you go to work. I will not try to jump the fence or suffer from seperation anxiety.
I have not been tested with cats.
In short, if you are looking for a Gold coloured, dream dog that is dog and child friendly, does not suffer separation anxiety and adores yoghurt treats, I'm your boy!
