About GT
ADOPTION DAY - Saturday 3 February - St Matt's Church Hall, 1331 Botany Rd, Botany - 10am-1pm. Come and meet all our available kittens and cats (including GT) on the day.
Meet GT…. short for GT stripe - due to his amazing striped back and tail.
GT’s story is sadly a very common one. He turned up at a small colony desperate and starving. He was trapped and desexed but had to be released back to the colony as it’s hard to find homes for every stray cat… there’s just too many.
Over the next year GT has been quick to warm up to humans and is always up for a head scratch and loves sitting near you on his bench. He became very good friends with another of the colony, until one day his buddy was hit by a car. GT was found close to the body staring at him as he lay lifeless on the side of the road 😔
So it’s GT’s time. He is now in foster care with us and off the streets. Already he is loving indoor life and we will be posting more photos and video of his progress now he’s safe.
GT was microchipped, vaccinated and had a broken Canin removed that must have been painful for him. Unfortunately he has tested FIV + but he’s a healthy boy and his outlook is good. He’s not an aggressive cat so can easily be integrated into a home with other friendly cats
For now we are just happy he is safe and receiving lots of love from his foster mum ❤️
