About Molly
Hi, I am Molly and I am looking for a forever home with my friend Polly-Twinkle (ID132111). Please read her profile for more information.
It took me quite a few weeks to feel safe enough to emerge from my hidey spots and interact with my foster parents. I still feel safe under the bed when something stresses me like loud shoes or visitors. I love that my foster Mum gave me the space to come to her for gentle pets. I have blossomed into a loving girl and like showing my affection by rubbing my face on legs and household items and chatting to my foster parents in my melodic voice. Foster Mum says I have a beautiful soft voice that sounds like angels.
I was so skinny when I arrived in foster after dental surgery and cat flu. But now I'm a healthy girl and love my food and fresh water especially when served in glass or ceramic bowls. My favourite treats foods are freshly cooked fish done in milk and Paw and Spoon gourmet chicken dinners. I'm so grateful that foster Mum keeps our litter trays so clean as I like things to be fresh.
Foster Mum and Dad think it's amusing and endearing when my top lip sometimes curls up over my gum where my tooth once was. I'm not bothered as I know I'm adorable. I'm a very intelligent girl so like to investigate the world outside from the safety of a windowsill or an enclosed garden area.
I love my foster sister very much. She's almost as good as my scratching post cat towers! We both like to interact with our foster parents' cats but Twinkle is more forward than me. We very rarely hiss when feeling threatened but and never take out our claws. I don't mind being picked up and carried, but not for too long. While my foster sister may be ok with small children, I think they would frighten me. Older children that are as gentle as I am would probably be fine.
Polly-Twinkle and Molly are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Their total adoption package price is $50 ($25). #bondedpair
Medical Notes
Polly-Twinkle and Molly have mild dental tartar and associated gum changes. This is very common in mature cats.
Polly-Twinkle has a small lesion on the eye known as iris pigmentation. This can be seen as a small dark patch on the coloured part of the eye. Often this sort of lesion is benign, and is unlikely to cause any visual defects.
Molly was diagnosed with cardiac arrhythmia, an abnormality in a cat's heartbeat. It can be associated with the rate (too fast or too slow), an irregularity in the heartbeat pattern, or a problem in the location where electrical signals are formed in the heart. Some arrhythmias may be harmless and don't require treatment, while others can be serious and life threatening.
Molly has a heart murmur. The murmur has been assessed by Cat Haven veterinary staff as mild (grade three or less) and not likely to cause any adverse effects on their health.
Molly has a waiver for Cat Flu (recovered).
We are located with our foster family in Inglewood.
Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
