About Liah
*In foster care in Petersham, Sydney*
Beautiful, calm and affectionate Liah is a sweet young cat who's just helped her sister Micah (also available for adoption - https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1001291) raise her litter of kittens!
Liah loves food, her sister and humans. Although she's happy to snooze in her bed or cat tower during the day, when evening sets in she likes to snuggle up with her foster carer on the couch, preferably with her head on her lap. She also loves to sleep nice and close on the bed :)
Content to enjoy her alone time while you're out, Liah will always welcome you with open paws when you return, and greets visitors at the door!
Not a super-vocal girl, Liah shows her appreciation for pats and scratches by rubbing against the fabulous person who's giving them :)
Like all Maggie's pets, Liah is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I adore people, so as long as there's stacks of pats and cuddles on tap I think I'll be purrfectly content!
And ideally, a home with my sister Micah would be wonderful! Preference will be given to adopters who want to take me and Micah home as a pair.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Although not much more than a kitten myself, I'm pretty laid back. I do enjoy a few zoomies with my sister in the evening, and don't mind chasing a ball, but I'm not a high-energy cat.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any small kids, but I enjoy the company of primary-school aged ones so I think a home with children would be great!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'd really adore a permanent home with my sister Micah! But if that's not possible, I reckon I'd get on well with most friendly kitties.
Though I've not met any dogs yet, I haven't ruled it out.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
