About Micah
*In foster care in Petersham, Sydney*
Micah is a gorgeous, friendly young cat who has just raised a litter of kittens with the help of her sister Liah - also available for adoption! (https://www.petrescue.com.au/listings/1001293)
Now her babies have moved on she's learning what life without responsibilities is like, and she is *enjoying* it :)
Micah loves pats and neck scritches, and is always up for a chat in the morning. She's happy to welcome people at the door, along with her sister, and likes to be in the same room as her foster carer. Although she loves to curl up on the couch beside her carer she isn't a lap cat (yet!).
Like all Maggie's pets, Micah is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I adore humans, so a home where there's lots of activity would suit me fine. But I'm really adaptable and cherish my own space too, so a quieter couple or single person who'll give me heaps of pats would be just as nice.
And ideally, a home with my sister Liah would be purrfect! Preference will be given to adopters who want to take me and Liah home as a pair.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm still a kitten at heart, so I like to play and enjoy zoomies in the evening :) But generally I'm happy to snooze the day away on the cat tower or on my bed by the window.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any small kids, but I enjoy the company of primary-school aged ones so I think a home with children would be great!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I love my sister Liah, so in an ideal world I'd get to live out my days by her side. But if that's not possible, I reckon I'd get on well with any friendly kitty!
Though I've not met any dogs yet, I haven't ruled it out.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
