About Doug
Meet our dapper Doug
A sweet, affectionate, playful and cheeky pup.
He is well socialised with dogs, cats, kids and even horses.
He loves all he meets and has a wonderful and happy outlook on life.
Doug would love a home with another dog, but would be equally happy being a spoilt only child
He would love a home with a busy single, couple or family. A social and active lifestyle with daily walks, puppy school, on going training and lots of love.
Doug is learning how to walk on lead, has learnt to sit, is almost toilet trained and crate trained sleeping throughout the night without a fuss in his current foster home.
Doug would suit a home with children 7 and older as he is a large breed puppy who will do all those cheeky puppy things. That jay overwhelm little people.
He is 3/4 boxer 1/4 pointer as is expected to mature 30-35kg
Doug is located in Whittlesea for meet and greets and is available for meets and greet immediately. Available afterhours during the week.

Adoption details
Our adoption process has 5 stages -
#1 A brief description of your home-
We ask that you send an inquiry with a brief description of the home that you can provide and why you think your home is suitable for the animal you are inquiring about.
Please note: if you do not send a brief description of the home that you can provide, or if your home is not what is suited based on the pets profile we will not continue with the adoption process
#2 Some questions-
You will receive an adoption application form within 24 -48 hours of your inquiry being sent
#3 Photo's of your yard - Applicable for dogs only -
Please provide photos of your yard including sheltered area from sun and rain
#4 Meet & greet - With other dog/s if you have any -
You will receive an email within 72 hours of sending your application in which we will let you know if your application has been successful. We will then organise a meet and greet.
Please keep in mind our rescue team is small. We work full time and have families and pets of our own. Sometimes emails are missed and some animals have over 50+ enquiries. We try our best to get back to everyone as soon as we can.
Our profiles are written with as much information regarding our animals, if you send an enquiry that does not meet the requirements of the particular animal, we may not reply. We ask you to carefully read profiles in full and the requirements for our animals and their new homes.
*PLEASE NOTE*: Not all applications are successful. We aim to match our animals to their perfect homes, sometimes there are many homes suitable but unfortunately only one animal.
Organized MEET AND GREETS do not guarantee the adoption of our of our animals. Eden Ark have the final say in the meet and greet process, If we feel our animal will not suit your family the trial period will not go ahead.
#5 A 7 day trial period -
If your meet is successful we ask that you have everything ready to take your new family member home that day. If this isn't possible, prior arrangement MUST be made - please understand we are not in a position to hold animals for you. Meet and greets are on Saturdays or unless prior arrangement has been made. Please note your meet and greet will be organised the first weekend available from an approved application, we try our best to accomodate but again we can not hold animals.
Adoption fee must be paid in cash on the day if your meet and greet is successful to start your 7 day trial period.
Once your 7 day trial period is complete,
Welcome to the Eden Ark Family!
