About Lopa
Oh hi there, I'm Lopa but my foster parents call me Moonie. I am looking for a stable, quiet and loving home with a family that will be patient with me.
When life is how I like it I am a content, purry and chatty girl. Always the princess, if things are not to my liking I will let you know.
I am only suited to households with no other pets and no small children. My environment is very important to me and I can be growly, hissy, bitey and swipey when I feel threatened or scared.
I only like pats and cuddles on my terms. I do not like my back or body touched but I do enjoy head pats or cheek and chin tickles, I will come up to you and let you know when this is ok. If you do not pat me according to my rules and on my terms, I am forced to use my teeth!
When I am comfortable I often get the zoomies and enjoy some play time. My favourite games are chasing my ball around the house, hunting my soft toys and playing string games with my foster parents.
I adore spending days at home with my foster parents, I follow them from room to room and keep them company while they work from home. It's not all business though, I like relaxing with my foster parents too, usually I curl up near their feet but sometimes I like to sit on their knee for a purring sesh and some chin tickles.
My litterbox requirements are lengthy, but my foster parents know all the tricks and can provide my new family with guidance.
I'm sure you've noticed how beautiful I am, everybody does! My very fair skin means I must be indoors only, I sadly had to have my ears removed from sun-damage so I now take sun safety seriously! Don't be concerned that I have no ears, I can still hear your praises and requests which I will choose to ignore.
I know it may seem like I am asking for a lot but I will be an adoring companion in return. I don't want to be a part of your world, I want to be your world. #indooronly #nocats #nodogs
Medical Notes
Lopa has a waiver for Inappropriate Toileting. During their time at Cat Haven, they have displayed some evidence of toileting inappropriately, such as toileting on their bedding or outside their litter tray. Their urine has been checked to rule out medical concerns, and it is likely that this behaviour is associated with stress and/or anxiety. It is possible that this behaviour will continue during the transition to your new home, and we cannot rule out that it may be an ongoing issue.
Lopa has had significant treatment to remove or prevent a serious type of skin cancer called squamous cell carcinoma. This type of cancer often occurs on the tips or the ears or on the nose and is why her ear flaps (or pinna) have been amputated.
I am located with my foster family in Scarborough.

Adoption details
Just browse some of the photos of our beautiful cats available for adoption or come to our shelter in Shenton Park to meet our many beautiful kitties.
Please be aware that the cats featured on this page represent only a very small portion of the total number of beautiful felines we have available for adoption. We do not include any of our kittens on this page, as the turnover for youngsters is simply too high to keep up-dating, but we always have many beautiful kittens looking for homes!
Also many of our cats and kittens are currently staying in temporary foster homes out in the community but are still looking for a loving home, so please call Cat Haven in advance if you want to make arrangements for a meeting with a foster cat.
