Free promotion for rescue pets in need of extra help to find love
More than 95% of all pets listed on PetRescue.com.au are adopted, and many find homes within just 30 days of being listed online. But there are some special souls that need an extra helping hand. These are the pets that find themselves homeless in their senior years, have disabilities or special needs, are shy when meeting strangers, or are simply overlooked.
They’re the loneliest of hearts who find it harder than most to find love, and we’re dedicating our marketing skills to give them a better chance of meeting their perfect match online by sharing them far and wide with thousands of pet-loving social media followers and email subscribers.
How we help the loneliest hearts
We don’t just pick all the cutest puppies and kittens that will get us the most likes! We invite all our member rescue groups, shelters and pounds to nominate the pets in their care who need an extra helping hand to find a new family. And we use our online reach and creative marketing skills to help these rescue pets turn heads and win hearts. This process can involve:
- Organising a professional photoshoot for the pet
- Giving the pet’s written profile a revamp
- Creating a special feature for the pet on our social media pages
- Running paid ads or boosted posts on our social media pages
- Featuring the pet in our bi-monthly emails to PetRescue subscribers
We can’t guarantee an instant match for every pet we promote, but if at first we don’t succeed, we try, try again - often with a paid targeted ad on social media.
What’s more, every pet listed on PetRescue.com.au has social share buttons, encouraging all visitors to share pets with their family and friends.
