PetRescue poster girl Susan is looking for love
A six year old feline who has been looking for a home for most of 2018 is the first face of PetRescue’s Adoptables campaign, which is supported by PETstock’s Charity Foundation, PETstock Assist.
Susan, who is described as a middle aged lady with a slightly dated haircut, was rescued SAFE Avon Valley from York pound back in April, and has been looking for love ever since.
“Susan is a playful and very friendly tabby, but she also has her less sociable times, where she wants her own space,” says Freedom Bousbury from SAFE Avon Valley.
“She really is quite a contradiction, she does like people but she likes to be left alone, she’s happy to be sociable at times but also likes her personal space and for those reasons we think she’d be best suited to either a male or female owner who works full-time.
“She also is not a fan of other dogs or cats, so she’ll need to be the only pet in the household.”
Susan is currently located in the Avon Valley and is available for re-homing in Perth and the Wheatbelt, as her carers from SAFE Avon Valley are willing to offer transportation to enable her to meet prospective families and ultimately find a loving home. Susan is available for adoption for just a donation to SAFE Avon Valley.

The Adoptables is a PetRescue program for pets who find it harder than most to find love, including senior pets, and those that have disabilities or special needs.
The initiative puts the full weight of PetRescue and PETstock’s marketing support behind individual pets to help them turn heads and win hearts and involves professional photo shoots, paid advertising and special communications.
