In collaboration with PETstock and Mars Petcare, PetRescue launched a new pet food donation program that delivered over $3 million worth of donated pet food between May and December (that’s about 130 tonnes) to 275 rescue groups, shelters and pounds registered at PetRescue.
The food was generously donated by Mars Petcare, and kindly distributed by PETstock stores, so that thousands of rescue pets got premium quality, nutritious food for free.
The money that participating rescue groups and shelters have saved through this innovative pet food donation program has helped to cover the cost of vital vet care and other essentials in saving the lives of Australia’s homeless pets.
