Sharing in our belief that every dog deserves a home, PEDIGREE® partnered with PetRescue to launch the PEDIGREE Adoption Drive™ 2014, which helped thousands of dogs find loving homes.
This national adoption initiative was in its seventh year at the time, and we were thrilled to be a part of it, especially as the star of the campaign was a rescue pet who had been adopted via the PetRescue website!
To raise awareness of the joy adoption could bring to people's lives, an adorable TV ad featuring Lilly and her proud mum, Sam, ran from Monday, 18th August, through to the end of 2014.

“When I first saw Lilly, there was something about her eyes that really grabbed me… She has a beautiful soul... I have never had such a close relationship with another dog before.”
During the campaign, there were more than 4,000 rescue dogs listed on the PetRescue website, all eagerly waiting for their new homes. In addition to boosting awareness, the 2014 Adoption Drive raised vital funds and provided food donations to support rescue organisations and the dogs in their care.
