Our Safe & Sound Pounds squad is doing the school rounds
It was back to school for PetRescue co-founder JB and his furry sidekick Cocoa this month. These two hairy, passionate rescue advocates presented to council rangers and animal management students, spreading the word on how to create a safe and happy future for all pets.
JB and Cocoa spent an afternoon session at Swan Midland TAFE campus, delivering the Safe & Sound Pounds message to current and upcoming rangers from 10 council areas, including Armadale, Carnarvon, Port Hedland, Bayswater, Joondalup, Busselton and Kalamunda (WA).
Together, these rangers are responsible for animal management covering a population area of over 370,000 people - with an estimated population of over 133,000 owned pet dogs and cats!
This is our Safe & Sound Pounds program and Animal Welfare Strategy in action - and we couldn’t spread the word like this without our amazing public supporters and corporate partners - all of whom share our vision of a future where every pet is safe, respected and loved.
Thanks so much to Swan Midland TAFE for having us! And just for the record - Cocoa’s report card was 100% A++ good doggo.
