PetRescue is thrilled to launch our new Members Suppawt Series for 2026, a four-part live webinar series created directly from the feedback you shared with us in last year’s member survey.
These live 45-minute sessions will explore the topics you told us you want more support with, creating space to learn, connect, and grow together. To kick off the webinar series, we invited members to join us for our first topic - A Guide to Getting Grant Ready.
Securing funding can make all the difference in sustaining and growing your rehoming efforts, and this session was designed to help organisations confidently create strong grant applications and apply for funding that supports the incredible work you do for pets and your communities.
For this webinar, we were delighted to collaborate with the amazing Barbara Brangan from Grantful. Barbara is a social impact enthusiast and an expert grant and tender writer. Over the past 8 years, she has become the go-to person for Australian-based charities, social enterprises, and mission-driven businesses looking to secure funding to scale their innovative programs for impact.
If you were unable to attend the webinar or wish to rewatch it, you can watch it in full here using the access code x$*90KG5
You can also find a list of grants you can apply for here, which was updated as of March 2026. Additionally, you will find the presentation slides here. Finally, don't forget Perplexity (a great AI resource for statistics) plus the PetRescue State of Pet Adoption Report.
We hope this webinar provides you and your team with the opportunity to learn in real time and gain practical insights you can apply straight away.
Should you wish to reach out to Barbara from Grantful with any queries, you can contact her via barbara@grantful.com.au.
