🐱🐱 Adopt Brandy and Jackson from Armadale Community Animal Rescue Group Inc
They come with a friend
Look no further than your own home for a play date! One of the biggest advantages of adopting a bonded pair is that the pets won’t be lonely. The dynamic duo can sniff out new adventures together, or enjoy quality nap time in each other’s company.
Being in a pair also eases separation anxiety for some pets as they keep each other mentally and physically stimulated when their humans aren’t around.
🐱🐱 Adopt Rodney and Roxanne from Animal Rehoming Tablelands in Queensland
Save time on introductions
Since pets that come together are already the best of buds, they don’t have to be trained to ‘settle’ in with pets they don’t know, which can be a consideration when adopting another pet at a later stage.
🐹🐹 Adopt Perri and Furphy from Freedom for Farmed Rabbits in Victoria
They are great for kids!
Having multiple pets can prove beneficial for young children. Studies have shown that having pets help nurture a child’s development and instil a sense of responsibility at an early stage. If you have a home with a couple of kids, having more than one pet can prevent any fights on who gets more cuddle time! Every child is happy with a pet they can care for and bond with.
Children growing up with multiple pets are also less likely to develop common allergies, which, we’d say is a pretty great advantage to having all those paws around the house!

Save two lives
Last, but definitely not least, adopting two rescue pets = saving two lives!
There are so many benefits to adopting a pair of pets, but above everything else, you also get 2x the love and cuddles. You’d practically be swimming in pet smooches at this point... and really, what more could you want?!
