Bring home twice the love with bonded pets!
Some pets are just perfect together, like vegemite and toast (Think Tom and Jerry, Snoopy and Woodstock, or Garfield and Odie)!
It’s double the love, double the action, double the laughter and of course - double the fun! Keep scrolling for good reasons to adopt an awesome twosome (and meet some of the bonded pets available for adoption along the way!)
They come with a friend
Look no further than your own home for a play date! One of the biggest advantages of adopting a bonded pair is that the pets won’t be lonely. The dynamic duo can sniff out new adventures together, or enjoy quality nap time in each other’s company.
Being in a pair also eases separation anxiety for some pets as they keep each other mentally and physically stimulated when their humans aren’t around.
Save time on introductions
Since pets that come together are already the best of buds, they don’t have to be trained to ‘settle’ in with pets they don’t know, which can be a consideration when adopting another pet at a later stage.
They are great for kids!
Having multiple pets can prove beneficial for young children. Studies have shown that having pets help nurture a child’s development and instil a sense of responsibility at an early stage. If you have a home with a couple of kids, having more than one pet can prevent any fights on who gets more cuddle time! Every child is happy with a pet they can care for and bond with.
Children growing up with multiple pets are also less likely to develop common allergies, which, we’d say is a pretty great advantage to having all those paws around the house!
Save two lives
Last, but definitely not least, adopting two rescue pets = saving two lives!
There are so many benefits to adopting a pair of pets, but above everything else, you also get 2x the love and cuddles. You’d practically be swimming in pet smooches at this point... and really, what more could you want?!
