Delivering the info you need right from the start
Time is precious. It’s not easy when you get an enquiry for a pet, but don’t get the information you need to determine whether it’s likely to be good match.
But never fear - adopter profiles are here! Now you can get detailed information on an enquirer’s lifestyle, family and existing pets delivered to you from the very start of the enquiry process.
Adopter profiles are here to enable you to more quickly and easily determine whether an enquirer is a good match for your group’s adoption policies, and for that particular pet.
As well as making life easier for you and your team, adopter profiles - part of the Matchmakers project - also make the process more appealing to prospective adopters.
We’ve surveyed thousands of pet seekers, and one thing we've heard time and time again is that having to submit the same detailed personal information over and over again to multiple rescue organisations is off-putting.
Having the option to create an adopter profile helps cut out some of that repetition, and that means adoption is an even better option than ever before! And it’s so important to encourage more pet seekers to choose rescue rather than a non-rescue source, because we also know that people who want a pet will get one from somewhere.
Currently, all new site users are directed to complete their adopter profile when first signing up with PetRescue.com.au. And over the coming months, we will be taking steps to channel even more enquirers onto this pathway.
If you have any feedback on adopter profiles, or any other suggestions on web features that would help lighten your workload please let us know. Most of the changes we make come from your feedback!
You can submit your feedback and suggestions to us via email@example.com.
