About Hoppys Place Rescue Inc.
Hoppys Place Rescue Inc. is a Victorian-based foster rescue dedicated to changing the lives of homeless, abandoned, neglected, abused, and medically vulnerable animals. Through the care and compassion of our incredible foster carers, every animal in our rescue is given the opportunity to heal, feel safe, and experience life as part of a family while waiting for their forever home.
As a foster-based rescue, our animals are raised in loving homes — not kennels — allowing us to better understand their personalities, needs, and the type of home that will help them thrive. We are incredibly grateful for our dedicated team of volunteers and foster carers who make what we do possible, and we are always welcoming compassionate new members into the Hoppys family.
Hoppys Place Rescue was inspired by our beautiful mascot, Hoppy. Hoppy endured severe abuse and neglect early in life, leaving her deaf, moderately brain injured, and requiring the amputation of one of her legs. Despite everything she has been through, Hoppy wakes up every day full of love, resilience, and joy. She reminds us daily that animals are incredibly forgiving, deserving, and worth fighting for.
Our rescue is built on compassion, advocacy, rehabilitation, and responsible rehoming. We are committed to ensuring every animal receives the medical care, safety, patience, and love they deserve.
For the safety and wellbeing of our rescue animals, all cats adopted through Hoppys Place Rescue Inc. must remain strictly indoors.
