About Smiley
Meet Smiley, a brave and incredibly special Domestic Short Hair (DSH) tabby boy who has already shown just how strong and resilient he is. Smiley has had one eye removed due to trauma, and his second eye will need to be removed in the future, meaning he will become fully blind. Despite everything he’s been through, Smiley lives up to his name with a sweet, loving nature and a gentle spirit that wins hearts instantly. He is learning to navigate the world around him and, like many kittens, still enjoys affection, comfort, and companionship.
Smiley will need a very special, committed home that understands the needs of a blind cat and is willing to provide a safe, stable indoor environment where furniture and routines remain consistent. With time, patience, and love, blind cats adapt incredibly well and can live happy, fulfilling lives. Smiley will rely on his other senses and the reassurance of his humans, forming an especially deep bond with those who care for him.
This little boy deserves a home that will see beyond his medical needs and recognise the beautiful, loving companion he is. If you have the heart and dedication to give a special needs kitten the life he deserves, Smiley will reward you with endless love, trust, and a truly unique connection.
Medical notes
He has had one removed and the other will need to be removed in the near future; trauma.

Indoor-Only Adoption
Our cats come into care after experiencing neglect, trauma, or medical challenges. To keep them safe and feeling secure, they are adopted into loving indoor-only homes.
They thrive with patience, understanding, and a long-term commitment. Adoption is for life, and if circumstances ever change, we ask that the cat is returned to us.
We are a volunteer-run rescue, so we kindly ask that enquiries include a mobile number. If you’d love to meet one of our beautiful cats, please text 0415 931 615 or 0413 512 922 to arrange a meet ’n’ greet. We’ll respond as soon as we can, usually within 3 days.
