At **Diamond in the Ruff Rescue**, we believe every dog deserves the chance to feel safe, loved and valued.

We are a **100% volunteer-run, non-profit dog rescue**, with no paid staff and no shelter facility. Instead, the dogs who come into our care are placed in loving foster homes, where we can get to know them as individuals and give them the time, care and support they need before finding their forever homes.

Our work goes beyond simply finding a dog a new home. Many of the dogs who come to us have been abandoned, surrendered, overlooked in pounds, or need additional medical, behavioural or emotional support. We are committed to giving each dog the best possible chance at a happy future.

We take the responsibility of rehoming seriously. Our goal isn't simply to find **a home** — it's to find the **right home**. We carefully consider each dog's personality, needs and circumstances when assessing potential adopters, and where appropriate, we provide ongoing support throughout the transition.

As a volunteer-run rescue, everything we achieve is made possible by our incredible foster carers, volunteers, supporters, adopters and the wider community.
