About Animal Welfare League NSW Armidale Branch
Armidale is a volunteer branch of Animal Welfare League NSW. We rescue pets and provide assistance to the Armidale, Guyra and Uralla areas.
All pets are rehomed desexed, vaccinated, vet checked, microchipped and ready for their new home.
We are a not for profit organisation and rely on the support of the community. Our volunteers operate an Op Shop at 159 Beardy St in the Armidale Mall opposite the Post Office. Donations can be received there during opening hours 10 am to 2 pm Wednesdays Thursdays and Fridays and 10 am to 12.45 pm Saturdays and Market Sundays.
We offer subsidised desexing for cats and dogs to pensioners and low income earners in the Armidale area. If you require assistance with desexing please contact our Dog Welfare Officer on 0492 921 955 or Cat Welfare Officer on 0492964 700 or come into the Op Shop during opening hours.
Animal Welfare League NSW (AWL NSW) is a registered charity that has been operating for over 60 years. We provide expert care to surrendered, neglected and abandoned companion animals across New South Wales.
We believe that all companion animals in NSW deserve a safe and loving home. We strive to accomplish this through our work in rehoming, education and discount desexing programs.
