About Animal Welfare League - Bathurst Branch
The Animal Welfare League NSW has volunteer-operated branches across New South Wales.
AWL NSW Bathurst volunteer branch is run entirely by volunteers, dedicated to improving the lives of companion animals in the local area, we offer the following services:
- Caring for surrendered animals
- Adopting dogs, and puppies (other animals considered in future)
- Subsidised Desexing Programs for financially disadvantaged people to have their animals desexed
- Fundraising and events
- Building relationships with local Council and community groups to assist with animal welfare issues in the region
All our animals are vaccinated, wormed, micro-chipped and desexed prior to being sent to their new homes.
