Fraser Coast Animal Rescue is made up of a group of dedicated volunteers committed to rehabilitating homeless dogs. We also support those who care for and help re-home unwanted dogs, and promote responsible pet ownership by advocating desexing, microchipping, vaccination and registration of dogs.
We are all about the animals, there is no room for politics and personal agendas within this organisation. We are always looking for amazing and loving foster carers to join us to help save the lives of the many unwanted and abandoned dogs.
Fraser Coast Animal Rescue house all our dogs in care with foster carers in family homes. This allows the dogs to experience life in family situations with other dogs, cats, children, chooks and various other domestic animals. This gives us an opportunity to discover their traits and personalities, likes and dislikes, and which dogs would suit which family dynamics.
We offer a 14 day trial period for all potential adoptees so they can see if the dog they have chosen is a fit with their family situation. There is a $50 refundable deposit paid on the commencement of the trial period, which comes off the balance of the adoption fee should you wish to formally adopt your chosen dog. If you decide that the dog doesn't fit with your family, the dog will be returned into foster care, and the full balance of the deposit is refunded to you with no fees or charges.
If you wish to arrange a meet and greet with one of our dogs in care, please call Dianne on 0400346347 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
The committee and carers of Fraser Coast Animal Rescue are all volunteers, so please be patient with us if we don't answer your enquiries straight away.
