About Homeless Cats Helping Hand
We are a couple of Women (Danuta and Natalie) who are passionate about helping animals in distress. Our focus is on helping to stop the unnecessary breeding of colony cats.
We both started this project as a result of coming across animals that have been abandoned and then had numerous offspring. We realize it is tough enough for the adult cats without them having to fend for their young as well.
We go into colonies and trap, desex and release them. There are times when we find young kittens or adult friendly cats and we endeavor to rescue and rehome them. We know the kittens and some of the cats can be tamed and rehomed and make great pets. Our own homes give testament to this. We do not take in other people pets but are happy to advertise their pets on our page.
We help the feeders in different colonies to trap and desex but often pay out of our pockets.
We have set up Homeless Cats Helping Hand Facebook to seek donations for veterinary costs and food but also to rehome the rehabilitated kittens and cats into homes of their own.
