We are located at the Nathalia Boarding Kennels & Cattery in Northern Victoria.
We only accept relinquished dogs from our customers (often-times elderly) who are no longer able to care for their pet.
We also work closely with the team at Numurkah Veterinary Clinic. The team here prefer to try and re-home a pet rather than euthanasia - which is often an option sought when families find themselves in circumstances where they can no longer care for their pet. The vet team will assess pets as healthy and deserving of the chance of a better outcome - and will contact us to take care of the animal and the adoption processes.
We care for the dogs, sometimes for many months, until they are re-homed. We get to know our guests very well and understand the type of family that would suit them best.
By law we cannot accept stray dogs for re-homing.
We have a set of guidelines such as suitability for the family that the dog is going to.
We have adoption papers that must be signed and witnessed.
All dogs and cats that are adopted through us must be returned to us if the adoption is not successful.
