Safe Bunbury (Saving Animals From Euthanasia)

Active in Western Australia

Rescue Group

Our Mission

To ensure that no companion animal succumbs to euthanasia purely through lack of somewhere to stay, and that optimum quality of life is achieved for all companion animals.

About SAFE

SAFE has set up a network of temporary carers who open their homes to abandoned animals whilst permanent homes are sought. SAFE is proactive in helping to bring about positive change in the areas which cause so many unwanted, abandoned and neglected animals, and strongly supports and promotes de-sexing. Through positive change, the primary goal for SAFE is to make a difference in the quality of life for companion animals and to promote their immense value to humans.

We Need Your Help

SAFE relies on the generousity of the community to operate our service. If you would like to become a Foster Carer, volunteer, help us financially or donate pet supplies, please contact us or visit our website for more details.

Please visit to view all the pets we have available for adoption.

Adoption Process

For an obligation free meet and greet, please contact us on the details below.

Our adoption process includes a two week trial period to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your home.

All adoption fees must be deposited into our SAFE Bunbury bank account in full before adoption trial starts. Please speak to the foster carer for our bank details. SAFE Bunbury now include the transfer of ownership on your pet's microchip from SAFE's details to yours. We will contact the microchipping company (CAR) to arrange the transfer of owner details once the trial period is complete.
