Ninja may be a bit shy when you first meet him, but once he warms up, he turns into a real sweetheart who loves affection, strokes, and pats. He sits, and shakes paws. He leads well, and is happy walking through town. With his friendly personality, Ninja is a joy to be around.

He is energetic and fit and thrives in an active lifestyle. He’s a great country boy: he loves jumping and riding on the back of the ute, or running alongside while driving to a fencing job on the farm. He has good recall, and readily comes back when required.

Ninja loves splashing around in a pool to cool off after a vigorous game of fetch-the-ball after work.

Ninja is on the whole neutral with other dogs and doesn’t seek out conflict. He’s even unbothered by more dominant dogs once he is used to them, showing his easy-going nature. While he gets along well with his canine companions, Ninja would also do just fine as a solo dog in a home where he can soak up all the love and attention.

He will need a home with secure cage containment when left alone (He does have a knack for jumping fences to follow you if left alone, as he loves being with his people and may try to come and find you if given the chance). However he is accustomed to being contained for long periods during the day, as long as he gets some regular exercise every day he is fine.

Ninja is not just a fun boy, but also a bit of a hero! When a local vet needed an emergency blood donor to save another dog’s life, Ninja stepped up and behaved beautifully, earning praise from the veterinary team.

After a day of fun and activity, Ninja loves to sit, shake, and soak up pats and brushes, showing his calm and affectionate side.
