About Geneva 10996
Are you a seasoned cat lover looking for a gentle soul to share your home with? Geneva may be the furry friend you've been searching for!
Geneva is a special cat with a heart full of love, waiting for the right person or family to welcome her into their home.
Geneva is a beautiful and shy cat who thrives in the tranquillity of an indoor-only environment. She may be a bit timid at first, but she's ready to blossom into a loving companion with the right person by her side.
Geneva's timid nature is her unique charm. She's best suited to a calm and quiet home, where she can gradually build her confidence at her own pace. With your patience and understanding, she'll come out of her shell in no time.
Geneva is open to meeting kids aged 8 yrs and above who can give her the space and time she needs to feel comfortable.
Geneva came into our care with her sister Vail, and they share a very sweet bond. They love to cuddle and play together, and having her sister around helps Geneva feel safe and secure. We would love to see them rehomed together or at least have Geneva go to a home where there is another cat friend waiting for her.
Geneva's timidity makes her a bit unsure around dogs, so it's best if she finds a dog-free home where she can truly relax.
Despite her shyness, Geneva has a playful side that's just waiting to be discovered. She adores toys and enjoys playtime with her sister.
Geneva is not a picky eater, but she truly cherishes breakfast time. It's one of her favourite moments of the day!
Geneva is a well-behaved kitty who always uses her litter tray. No mess, no fuss!
While Geneva may be reserved initially, she's open to being picked up and even enjoys a small cuddle once she feels comfortable. She absolutely loves cheek scratches!
Geneva is a sweet, shy cat who is still working on her confidence. She needs an owner who is patient, understanding, and willing to let her bloom at her own pace. If you're someone who appreciates the journey of helping a timid cat come out of their shell, Geneva could be your perfect match.
Post-Adoption Life: With all animals it’s important to understand that going into a new environment with new people may not be as seamless as we want it to be. It’s important to know that these animals have unknown histories - most are left in the shelter by their owners. The information we have is from observing the animal’s behaviours & reactions to certain stimuli whilst in our care. Adopted animals can take up to 3 months to properly decompress from post-shelter life & a lot of behaviours & quirks may surface during this time. All that we ask is that their new owners have an open mind & are patient.
Adoption details
Please remember that the pets we have available sometimes come to us with no history, so we do our very best to get to know them while they are here and to match them to your home. Sometimes animals behave differently outside of the shelter environment, so please do keep in touch after adoption so that we can help you settle your new family member in and address any unexpected behaviours.
