About Bambi & Sandy
Bambi & Sandy are bonded teenagers who came from a hoarding situation, they adore and rely on each other and must be adopted together. Having not received the love and attention they deserve, Bambi & Sandy have been placed into a foster home to get to know them and show them the human love that they need.
Although initially hesitant, Bambi & Sandy have proven to be friendly and curious girls who love to play. They can often be found batting around toys or chasing each other up and down the scratching post, but they prefer to keep all four paws on the ground while playing.
Given their past experience, Bambi & Sandy will need a quiet and patient home with no children or canines. With some time, patience, and lots of affection, these sweet girls are sure to quickly become loving companions in their forever home!
From their Foster Home -
Sandy and Bambi both are still timid but are starting to come out of their shell. If someone is patient with them, I think they will become lovely family members. They have slept on a blanket on my lap a couple of nights so starting to want more interaction with me. They have a very gentle nature but have fun in their play and sometimes race around the room together. Sometime sleep together, other times apart but like to check where each other are. Loved looking out the windows and watching the action outside.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
