About Kaz
Hey, I’m Kaz, and I'm one sassy little 5-month-old kelpie girl who just didn't cut it for farm work.
I love to run and play, travel really well, walk well on the lead, although I do need more practice in new environments.
I am crate trained as this is my safe space, although I do tend to protest for a short time when it’s bedtime as I just love being with my humans. I can sit and wait patiently for my food.
My recall is improving each day. I do respond to a quick loud whistle and my name along with the word “come” but will need continued work, especially under distraction, although as I love being by your side, I never venture too far away. I'm also getting there with toilet training. Generally, I’m pretty good but sometimes I play too much and forget.
I am really good with kids and enjoy my pats and games, although I can still be a bit excitable like most young working breeds. I'm a very active and driven girl, and I like to keep busy but happy to chill too! I do enjoy curling up on the couch for a cuddle or at your feet while you work and happy being inside and out when it’s a sunny day for me to enjoy.
I can entertain myself with all my toys (little lamby is my favourite) and I like to explore in the garden as well as tug of war with some rope.
I love other dogs once I've been introduced properly as I do like to play, so a friend for company would be nice.
I need a forever home with experienced owners who understand working dog breeds, and are committed to continuing on with my training and know how to keep one step ahead of me, provide me with daily exercise and stimulation, and help me to be the most content and well-adjusted girl I can be.
If you can offer me all of this, with lots of cuddles thrown in, either with another like-minded doggy sibling or an only dog home with humans more often than not that include me in all your adventures, then don't delay, apply today!

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
