Rosanna, Rosanna!

Introducing the most beautiful, magnificent, and loyal companion! Rosanna is a 1 year old GSD who has spent some time in the behaviour department working on some skills for the big wide world.

Rosanna came into the shelter a little nervous around unfamiliar people and dogs. Rosanna has been working closely with her trainer to manage her arousal and emotional response to situations that make her uncomfortable, and she has come along in leaps and bounds. She has been working on ignoring dogs and regulating her arousal when out on walks. For this reason, we would be looking for a household with no other dogs and who will continue her training.

Like most GSDs, Rosanna loves to work and train, she is a highly intelligent dog and will be an extremely fun dog to work with, teaching new skills, playing games and is great at keeping herself busy with enrichment. Her favourite things to do are play fetch, scent work and of course, going for walks. Being a high drive dog, it will be very important to ensure she has appropriate exercise AND enrichment to keep her brain active.
