About Olive - 4.5 Month Old Kelpie X (Trial 8/10/23)
Meet the gorgeous little lady, Olive. Olive has a large and loveable personality with eyes to match that will melt your heart. She's a slight built girl, and won't be a big dog at all. Quite typical of the Kelpie breed.
She is a full of bean’s and so much love to give. She is eager to be amongst all of the action and also enjoys her snuggles and is happy to curl up next to you and watch some tv.
Olive is a super clever pup who’s eager to learn and please. She is toilet trained with great success so far and is happy to sleep in her crate overnight. She is learning basic manners and commands extremely quickly. She can sit, stay, drop and loves her training sessions.
Olive currently lives with a foster sibling to keep her company throughout the day while her carers are at work. She requires introduction to new dogs and accepts them once she is confident. She plays nicely and is not overwhelming to play with.
Olive is a super sweet natured puppy who is happy to be involved in the families activities and follow you around the house while you complete daily tasks. She is a dog who just wants to please. She will make a perfect family dog and is a very very smart girl.
Olives ideal home:
- Another doggie friend to keep her company when her family isn’t home, or someone in the family home more often than not to keep her company.
- A family committed to ongoing training of basic manners and obedience as she grows.
- A home where she is welcomed as one of the family members and is allowed inside for family interactions.
- A family committed to socialising Olive with other friendly pups/dogs.
- Olive requires a reasonable sized yard with good fencing, and no small gaps. Please no rural fencing, small yards or courtyards.
Olive is untested with children and cats, although shows kind and gentle interest in passing interactions. With the proper introduction, Olive would make a great family dog.
