Lila

Hi everybody, I'm Lila! I am a purebred black working line German Shepherd who looooves everyone. My foster mum says I am the happiest, smoochiest girl in the world. I love to give kisses and don't know the meaning of personal space as I will climb into your lap for a cuddle if given half the chance. I am super energetic and just want to play, play, play all day long so I am going to need a family that can keep up with my high energy and take me for daily walks and provide me with lots of enrichment activities, as if I get bored, I might start doing naughty things.

Since I've been with my foster family, I've been a very good girl and haven't done anything naughty, I sleep through the night inside with my two furry foster brothers, I don't bark or chew or dig holes, but there is lots of exciting things to do here, other dogs to play with and my foster mum is home most of the time.

I get on well with other dogs, but will need ongoing obedience training and socialisation. My foster mum has been teaching me lots of new things and I now know how to sit and wait for my dinner, drop and come. I am such a fast learner! I do try to use the puppy eyes, but my foster mum doesn't fall for that, so I am going to need an assertive mum/dad to keep me in check.

At the moment, I have to share this place with a few of those funny looking cat things. I'm not too sure about them, they smell funny. My foster mum's working on this with me. I haven't made my mind up yet if I'd like to live with one permanently or not.

Ideally, I would love my furever family to:
>Have previous experience with German Shepherd Dogs
>Allow me inside, especially at night
>Be committed to my ongoing training and socialisation
>Be home more often than not, I don't like to be home alone for long periods
>A furry brother of similar size to play with would be great
