About Kimchi
Kimchi is a super sweet little girl who loves her people. She is a very affectionate little dog with her owners and loves to be curled up in her bed or crate nearby while you are busy. Once Kimchi settles into her new environment, her bubbly and funny personality shines through. She bounces around smiling, does zoomies and stretches out like a frog on the rug. Kimchi also loves the sun and will follow it around to ensure she also gets the best spot in the house. When meeting new people she is calm and quiet and will quickly find your lap for a soft snuggle.
Kimchi has been in foster care with a range of other dogs. Once her confidence builds around the others, she has no problem sharing her home with other dogs and you will often find her on the same bed as someone else. Kimchi will bark at other dogs she doesn’t know when out walking or that pass the yard, but she responds quickly to correction.
Kimchi came to us from a rural NSW pound and doesn’t seem to have been exposed to much beyond the home. She can be a little wary of new things but will eventually relax with reassurance. Her new owners will need to be dog experienced or take guidance from a trainer, in order to be able to give her the appropriate support when in new situations. She really thrives when she is given clear directions. Kimchi walks nicely on the lead.
Around the home, Kimchi is progressing well with her basic training. She is getting better with her toilet training, but reinforcement will need to carry on in her new home. Kimchi is crate trained and sleeps throughout the night in her crate without a peep. She is able to stay home in her crate for a few hours by herself, but we will be looking for a home where her owners are around more often than not. Kimchi also travels well in the car so would love to accompany you on your outings.
As stated, we are looking for a dog experienced for Kimchi who will treat her as a loved member of the family but still provide her with the guidance that she requires. Previous experience with timid dogs would be ideal. Kimchi will need a home with another dog for company and/or with someone who is home most of the time. She will need to be allowed inside the home to be with the family and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night. Kimchi has met some kids and was good with them; however, we think she would be best in an adult only home due to her nature. She is currently living with cats and is non-reactive. Kimchi is the type of dog who would be a very rewarding little companion to have around the home and would bring lots of love to her new home.
If you would like to make beautiful Kimchi a part of your family, then please complete a Dog Adoption Enquiry form on the Fetching Dogs website as the next step. Please include plenty of details about your previous dog experience, current household members and the type of lifestyle Kimchi would have with you.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
