About David
David’s requirements in his new home
- A family that is happy for a very affectionate cat.
- Another desexed playful cat/kitten NOT senior
- Inside only lifestyle or an outside cat run/enclosure. A fenced backyard is not sufficient to keep a cat safe and on your property.
- Plenty of toys.
- If children live in the home, they need to be gentle and respectful.
David is very affectionate and loves, no demands cuddles, so be prepared for an extremely affectionate cat. David has grown up with children and would happily live with children that are gentle and will give him loving cuddles but also will respect his space. David loves playing with other young cats and kittens so would love to share his space with another cat. David has been living with a dog and will happily share his home with a calm, cat friendly dog, slow safe introductions are highly recommended. David will need an inside only lifestyle or with a cat run/enclosure, a fenced yard is not enough to keep him contained and safe on your property. Being a young kitten, he is playful and loves toys and will steal socks if given the opportunity.
Medical notes
David has retained deciduous lower canines (baby teeth). Have been checked by our vet who said at this stage they don't need to be removed but they may need to come out when he's a bit older. New owner will need to get the advice of their own trusted vet.
David is due for his 3rd vaccination on the 2/12/23 at the new owners cost.
Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis, we assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animal.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home please send us a detailed email us with some information about the people and any other animals in your home as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet. We are volunteerswho run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require any other dogs in your home meeting our foster animal before they head home with you. This enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
All our animals are available for a two week trial with full refund. They are also covered by a lifetime return policy. If you ever find yourself unable to care for or keep your pet please contact us and they will come back into our care, this is a condition of our Adoptions.
