Introducing our amazing man Alan.

This stunning fellow has come into the shelter and awaits his happily ever after.
Alan is a gentle and proud man, he would love to go to a quiet home where he can play in the backyard and go on long adventure walks then tucker down at night on his bed with a yummy treato and watch some netflix with you.

Alan will need to go to an adults-only home as he can get a little nervous with new people and environments. His ideal adopter will need to understand how to take things at his pace and allow him time to settle in and become fully comfortable with his surroundings. The staff at LDH can give you tips and tricks on how to do this in a positive manner, we just ask that you have the patience for this.

As Alan is a German Shepherd, he is incredibly smart and we can see him making his new adopter/s very proud to call him their baby.
Alan may be okay to go to a home with a similar temperament canine friend but THEY MUST be present for the meet and greet to make sure they are going to be a perfect duo and will live happily together.

Alan has been very scared here in the shelter but he has come a very long way with some positive reinforcement. If you think he sounds like the perfect companion for you then come in and meet him today!
