Pippin and Merry are definitely a bonded pair and are most probably littermates.
Pippin is definitely the more reserved of the 2, but opens up more and more each day. He isn't the biggest fan of being picked up but does like to jump up on your lap when he feels inclined (which is quite often).
Pippin loves his walks and gets extremely excited when the leash comes out; also loves the car! He has next to no recall so we recommend he be kept on a lead for the foreseeable future on his walks.
Merry is the outgoing one of the duo. She loves to play and run! Merry too loves her walks. She has great recall but she is a little explorer so keep your eye on her! She needs her home to have secure fencing. Loves getting snuggles and cuddles.
These two darlings prefer meat to biscuits but will eat bickies if mixed and coated with meat.
Pippin and Merry are definitely pillow dwellers, anything soft and fluffy is deemed theirs to lie on and own.
Pippin is slightly guarded when it comes to meeting new dogs, and can have a lip curl and a bit of a snap. This quickly resolves, and could be to assert his position immediately to show he's no push over. It does not appear to be malicious or nasty.
Although pippin and Merry generally don't tend to worry or care about cats separately, if together they will chase their carer's cats so would probably be best homed to a household without cats or with dog seasoned cats who aren't scared of being chased.
Both dogs are little barkers, any movement outside they bark, but they do cease when told too. Merry also barks when super excited as well eg zoomies around the yard. You will always know when someone is approaching your place!
Both Pippin and Merry are toilet trained and go outside on command. Both dogs are good with kids, and are happy to receive attention once they know you.
Merry and Pippin would suit any type of home life where they will be loved and have plenty of company. They really are just snuggle bunnies that relish all the attention they can get.
