About Luca
Luca here, the handsome tri-coloured chap from the Italian pups. I am a border collie x. I have a beautiful soft and fluffy coat with very pretty colours. I will grow to be a medium to large sized dog.
I am confident and inquisitive and love to explore my surroundings. I will happily play chase and tug with my 5 siblings but I am also happy to explore on my own sometimes. With my sister Lena, I am often the leader of the group in games.
I am a busy and intelligent chap and very engaged in games of tug and chase with both my siblings and my foster mum. I need a home that will provide me with lots of mental stimulation. My foster mum tells me I would like dog sports a lot.
I have been well socialised with other dogs and have met the resident cat. He didn’t seem very friendly so I left him alone. I love to play with the older dogs in my foster home and often seek them out and follow them around. I would love to have a friendly, older dog in my new home.
I will need a home with secure fencing and room to stretch my legs. My new people will need experience with working breed dogs and be able to provide me with plenty of mental and physical activity. If you can provide this and ongoing training, I am sure to grow into a great companion. You will also need to be prepared to maintain my beautiful coat with regular grooming.
Luca is located in NSW.
Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
