About Kay
Introducing Kay, otherwise known as little muffin, a young Kelpie girl with a very special listening ear.
Kay is a very happy pup who tried her hand at working and it wasn’t for her. Now she is searching for a family or hobby job where she can enjoy the love and companionship of humans.
Kay is highly intelligent and eager to please. She is a little timid at first around new people but once you’ve earnt her trust, she will be your little shadow. She will need someone who is patient as she learns all about the outside world. Kay is great with other dogs and loves to potter around in the garden. Kay is crate trained, sleeps all through the night, has a great off switch and is toilet trained. Kay is working on her basic commands and is a very good listener, she has great dinner manners and is pretty good on leash.
Kay would like a big backyard which she can stretch her legs, explore the plants and watch the birds. She loves playing with her foster dog sibling and spending quality time cuddling with her humans. She is very human focused and would love people home more often than not.
Kay will sit quietly outside when her humans are not home. She can be a little wriggly when getting belly rubs so would be better suited to older, more dog savvy kids. Kay’s new family will need to be experienced with working breeds and understand her mental and physical needs.
Kay is unique with her special ear and personality so if you would like to have this little treasure as part of your family, apply today. Kay will be keeping her ear our for the perfect family.
Kay is located in VIC.
Medical notes
Kay has one ear that is noticeably smaller than the other. It causes no issues but did not develop fully.
