Norm (Buddy)

Norm (aka Buddy) is four yours old. And although he’s an adult dog he is definitely a puppy at heart!! He is amazing with people, and he DOES have manners. But sometimes when visitors arrive, all the manners go out the window with his excitement.

He lives on a property and hasn’t tried to escape. But has shown signs of drive to hunt down “intruders” (like rabbits, and rodents etc). He has not been tested with cats.

He loves car rides, loves water and just plots along next to you around the house yard. He sleeps inside at night, and is house trained. He doesn’t like being locked up (in a dog run) but is happy to wait on the veranda until you arrive home. He is crate trained. He also loves a good game of fetch. But a “good game” to him, is about 6 throws and it’s all over.

He’s breed is unknown. He came into care chipped as a Mastiff. Most people that meet him assume he is a Labrador mix. But we don’t know, and it’s all guess work.

He’s great with other dogs, from puppies right through to Great Danes. He’s a very cool dog. Who is quiet unless there is a possum in the tree or he is locked up in a dog run away from his friends. He will definitely need another dog as a companion in his new home.
