Meet the ever so stunning , sweet, affectionate loveable and SUPER HANDSOME , Golden Retriever x Standard Poodle ZIGGY POP
At only 27 kilos this gorgeous Groodle is a head turner or a male version of a doggo hunk that will have everyone commenting oooh wow and a few wolf whistles on how handsome he is as you proudly strut him down the street
With a soft snow white coat , legs to his waist and eyes that drink you in this happy smiley boy is just one that you cant help but fall into deep love with regardless how goofy he is lol
The master of stealing food from the kitchen bench is our boy but although he has a bit of cheeky naughties he really tries hard to be good… well most of the time lol
Ziggy Pop has leant to sit, drop and shake so he is so eager to learn and so so smart too. Hes the king of belly rubs and as long as you tickle his tummy he will lay there lapping it all in.
Car Travel
Ziggy Pop travels well in the car. He sits really well when correctly harnessed and enjoys the scenery
Human interaction
Ziggy is very excited when greeting visitors and can be a little over enthusiastic lol but when told to sit he will do so and pretty quickly quieten down.
He is a very affectionate boy who loves nothing better than cuddling up on the couch with his Humans and having a snuggle while you are watching tv
Exercise and Stimulation
With his super handsome looks you will be very encouraged to want to take him out and about into the outdoors to show him off which suits Ziggy Pops needs so well. He would LOVE a good solid walk daily to keep him fit and healthy too. Ziggy Pop being the breed mix he is and still a younger boy has some energy to expend daily so if you are not active or motivated to get out and about…. He is definitely not the boy for you.. Once hes had his daily walk he will mostly snooze the rest of the day lol.
Did someone say toys ??? Ziggy Pop loves his toys and specially the chew toys, he loves treat filled toys or a big juicy bone.
Obedience
What a super smart boy Ziggy Pop is!
He can sit, Drop and shake paws and sometimes tries to do all of them at once lol , He's such a goof ….
When you initially take Ziggy out on lead he does have a tendency to pull but we have found that a confident and experienced handler using a correction chain can have him in check in a very short matter of time.
Inside
Ziggy loves snuggles on your lap.Yes this big goof ball thinks he is still a tiny puppy that can curl into a ball and fit … UMMM not he doesnt lol
He loves to be with you. He snuggles right in and has lots of little naps. He is a people person doggo and enjoys the company of humans more than anything else. Ziggy Pop will help himself to any food you choose to leave on the kitchen bench for him …. He is tall enough to see everything that might taste good so hes a great incentive to keep that kitchen clean lol
Ziggy Pop still requires some work with his inside toilet training when not supervised
Animal social Skills
Ziggy Pop is currently in care with another dog and loves playing with him and has also had time with other dogs but if they are dominant he will tend to stay away from them.He will need play time with doggo friends to keep him well socialised.
Ziggy pop has not been tested with cats or pocket pets.
Sleeping
Ziggy sleeps outside or on the couch at night time without any problems.
Just as we have stated Ziggy pop still needs some work with house training if being left inside at night
IDEAL HOME/. ADOPTION CRITERIA
A home with a bigger size med or large yard with secure fencing, grass to play and plenty of shade and shelter
We have not tested him with cats or pocket pets
Ziggy Pop did want to chase the ducks at the park so guessing no feathered friends is best
A home that will allow Ziggy Pop to be an inside and outside boy who have the time. Skills and dedication to spend on his lead skills
Children in the home would be great but Ziggy can want to give you a big hug when hes excited so mature age dog savvy kids are better suited to avoid being knocked over by love lol
Ziggy Pop will need a good daily walk without fail or he will become bored
Ziggy Pop is best suited to an active family that love the great outdoors and spending time outside and enjoying time with their dog/s
Ziggy Pop will need coat maintenance including regular brushing and a trim
Another dog in the home is welcome to apply if they are social and not dominant or wanting to jump all over him.
