My name is Layla, I'm supposed to be a Boxer x Rottie, but I don't look like either of those breeds. People who know me think I'm more like a Mastiff and that I am a magnificent looking dog.

I am almost 5 years old, very shy and timid when I first meet strangers but I warm up quickly to people who are gentle with me. My person is my "safe place" and I will be totally devoted to the right person or family who are fortunate to adopt me. I am very protective of my home and will bark when strangers come to the house but isn't that what good dogs do? My Foster Carer only has to tell me that it's OK and I know I can relax.

Did I mention I love treats? Any sort, not fussy, I love them all!!
